Our Practice

At Stone Post Family Dental, we provide you and your family with advanced technology dental care in a spa-like setting. Dr. Watson believes that you deserve the most effective dental treatment possible, in the most relaxing environment possible. We also provide quality doctor-patient care, advanced digital technology, attention to detail, and thorough communication. To make sure that even our most anxious patients are comfortable at Stone Post Family Dental, we offer Nitrous Oxide, or “laughing gas”. We also offer free WiFi, coffee, and beverages in our waiting area; video games, toys, and books in our children’s area; and TVs, heated neck pillows, and music headphones in our treatment rooms. We even have a treasure chest full of prizes for our younger patients! At Stone Post Family Dental we want you to feel confident about your smile and about your dental care.

About Katie Watson, DDS

A Missouri State University graduate with a degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry, continued onto UMKC Dental School, from which she graduated in 2008 with her doctorate in dental surgery. Became an associate dentist at a busy Lenexa, KS dental office. Decided to fulfill her lifelong goal of opening her own practice in September 2012 in Overland Park, KS. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, and Fifth District Dental Society, where she serves as an alternate delegate. She held a free dental care day for the needy, at her practice, thru the organization, “Dentistry from the Heart” in April 2015. Her philanthropies of choice include the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Autism Speaks organization. She currently resides in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Matt, and two boys Landon (5 ) and Bennett ( 2) and their golden retriever Cooper. Enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, wine and exercising.
